Bluejack Ranch ("Bluejack Ranch," "we," "us" or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit bluejackranch.com (the "Site"), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
This policy covers the Site only. It does not cover the Bluejack Ranch member portal, our clubhouse and on-property services, or other websites we link to, which have their own terms and policies.
Information We Collect
Information you give us
When you schedule a tour, request information about a residence, send us a message, or request access through the master plan map, we collect what you enter, which may include:
- Your first and last name
- Your email address and phone number
- Your preferred tour date and time
- The residence or topic you are asking about, and any message you write
You may also give us information when you call, email or text us, or meet with our team.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and the service providers we use may automatically collect certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the pages you view, the site that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. This information is collected through server logs, cookies and similar technologies described below.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your questions and requests, and schedule and confirm tours
- Share information about Bluejack Ranch residences, membership and amenities that you have asked about
- Operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site
- Understand how visitors use the Site so we can make it better
- Protect against spam, fraud and misuse of our forms
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights
Cookies & Similar Technologies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. The Site and the services built into it may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working, remember your preferences, measure traffic and protect our forms from spam.
- Analytics. We may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the Site. Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you visit and how long you stay, and reports it to us in aggregate. You can learn how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Spam protection. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA, which collects hardware and software information, such as device and application data, to check that a real person is submitting the form. Its use is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- Embedded content. Videos, maps and the interactive master plan are provided by third parties (see below) and may set their own cookies when they load.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. If you block cookies, some parts of the Site, such as videos, maps or forms, may not work as intended.
Third-Party Services
The Site relies on trusted third parties to provide certain features. When you use these features, those providers may receive information such as your IP address and browser details, and they handle it under their own privacy policies:
- Google for reCAPTCHA spam protection, maps on our contact page, website fonts and, where used, Google Analytics (Google Privacy Policy)
- Vimeo for the videos on the Site (Vimeo Privacy Policy)
- Our interactive master plan map, which is hosted by our map provider and includes its own Request access form that sends your details to our team
- Our website platform and content delivery providers, which host the Site and deliver its files
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described here:
- Our team and affiliated Bluejack companies, such as our real estate and homebuilding teams, when needed to answer your request, arrange a tour or follow up on your interest
- Service providers who help us run the Site, our forms and our communications, and who may use the information only to provide those services to us
- Legal and safety reasons, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, legal process or a government request, or is needed to protect the rights, property or safety of Bluejack Ranch, our members, residents, guests or others
- Business transfers, as part of a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of all or part of our business, in which case the information remains subject to this policy
- With your consent, or at your direction
Communications
If you send us a request, we may contact you by email, phone or text message about that request, a tour you scheduled, or the residences and membership you asked about. You can ask us to stop at any time by replying to let us know, by following the unsubscribe instructions in our emails, or by contacting us as described below. We may still send messages about a tour or request that is in progress.
Links to Other Websites
The Site links to websites we do not operate, such as the Bluejack Ranch member portal, online brochures, news articles, video pages and social media. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.
Data Retention & Security
We keep personal information for as long as needed to respond to your request, maintain our relationship with you, and meet our legal, accounting and business needs, after which we delete or de-identify it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect, and the Site is delivered over a secure (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices & Rights
You may contact us at any time to ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information you have given us, or to stop contacting you. Depending on where you live, including under Texas law, you may have additional rights, such as the right to confirm whether we process your personal information, to receive a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or certain profiling.
To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will explain the outcome of the appeal. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. Because there is no common standard for how websites should respond to these signals, the Site does not currently respond to them.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
